This my finished helmet that I have been posting about. I tapped it out of fiberglass from a silicone brush up mold that I made. I painted it to look like metal. Im pretty proud of myself.

Way Way before my time here in Monessen, Pa there was a theater called The Manos Theater. The first movie they ever played was Red River with John Wayne, and I guess it was a big deal.

Here at the Monessen Heritage Museum it was decided there would be a Manos Theater display. So we obtained old usher jackets that were just torn to shreds. So it was my job to make a coat out of all the other coats. It was a lot of fun but hard work, I kind of missed sewing I guess.

Here are the photos of what I had to deal with and the end process.

More photos and finished coat at the end.
